Prescott boys hoops thrash Somerset 67-38

PRESCOTT - Prescott High School's boys basketball team had no trouble beating a short-handed Somerset squad 67-38 Friday at home.

The Spartans were without several of their starters due to suspensions.

The Cardinals broke open the contest by outscoring Somerset 22-11 in the second quarter and 32-17 in the second half.

PHS was led in scoring by Zach Charette's 17 points and 10 points each for Chris Krech and Trevor Steger.
