HAGER CITY - Nick Johnson 10 strikeouts plus an RBI-double helped the Prescott Pirates beat the Hager City Skeeters 8-1 Wednesday at Brown Field.

The Skeeters took a brief 1-0 lead in the second inning off an RBI-sacrifice by Chandler Flynn. But Johnson's RBI-hit and an RBI-single by Billy Brookshaw put Prescott ahead for good. The Pirates led 4-1 much of the way until they scored four runs late in the ballgame.
