Prescott grapplers ensure winning season by beating Somerset

SOMERSET - The Prescott High School wrestling team guaranteed itself a winning season in the Middle Border Conference by beating Somerset 45-18 Thursday evening.


After losing the first match, PHS won the next six in a row and got pins from Sam Hoopingarner at 106 and Nick Opdahl at 138 along with forfeits at 120, 126 and 132.

Also winning for the Cardinals were Matt McNurlin at 152; Troy Urman at 160 and River Christensen at 220.
