Prescott takes third in MBC meet on home course

CLIFTON - The Prescott High School girls golf team finished third in a Middle Border Conference meet held on its home course at Clifton Highlands Tuesday.

The Cardinals shot a nine-hole score of 220. New Richmond won is sixth conference meet this season shooting a 182 followed by Osceola's 188. 

Ellsworth placed seventh shooting a 266.

PHS's Megan Westeberg finished eighth individually, shooting a 51. Two New Richmond golfers tied for meet medalist honors, Alex Wheeler and Hannah Baker, both shooting 41s. 

EHS's top golfer was Madelyn Nielsen as she finished with a 64.

The next MBC meet is Thursday at Somerset's Bristol Ridge.  Ellsworth hosts the final legaue meet of the regular season Monday at the Ellsworth Country Club.
