Prescott woman hospitalized after Jeep overturns
PRESCOTT - A Prescott woman was transported directly to Regions Hospital in St. Paul Thursday afternoon after she was ejected from her Jeep Wrangler when it left Hwy. 29 and overturned.
Alina Stannard, 38, of Prescott was injured when her 2000 Wrangler entered a ditch off Hwy. 29 and rolled over, throwing Stannard from the vehicle. The accident was reported at 3:40 p.m.
Stannard was transported from the scene by Prescott Area Ambulance personnel with undetermined injuries. A Regions spokesperson said Friday she was in good condition.
Pierce County sheriff's deputies responded to the crash along with Prescott police and fire departments and Ellsworth Area Ambulance.
The accident is still under investigation by the Pierce County Sheriff's Department.
