Request for Proposal Notice

Pierce County seeks a professional to provide depository and banking services for the County's self-funded health insurance accounts. Proposals must be received by mail or hand delivered to Phyllis Beastrom, Treasurer, 414 West Main Street, P.O. Box 87, Ellsworth, WI 54011, by no later than 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, October 29, 2008, in a sealed envelope marked "Proposal - Health Insurance Banking Proposal". The Pierce County Finance and Personnel Committee will review and award the proposal, on Monday, November 3, 2008 at 6:30 p.m. at the Pierce County Courthouse, 414 West Main Street, Ellsworth, WI 54011. The Request for Proposal Specification documents should be obtained from Phyllis Beastrom, Treasurer, 414 West Main Street, P.O. Box 119, Ellsworth, WI 54011, (715) 273-6743. Pierce County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals regardless of conformity with the specifications. Furthermore, Pierce County may declare as valid any proposal submitted despite its failure to adhere to the terms and conditions stated in the specifications/proposal form. Pierce County reserves the right to using reasonable business judgment to negotiate with a respondent whether or not its submittal is deemed to be the lowest responsive and responsible proposal. Pierce County is bound only upon the signing and execution of a formal written contract.
