Retiree made rounds of Ellsworth elementary schools

Over the last two-plus decades, visitors to the elementary schools in the Ellsworth School District could find Judy Hall teaching at each during one school term or another.

Mrs. Hall said Wednesday she began in 1988 at the former Lindgren Elementary's third, fourth and fifth grades. After three years there, she spent two years as a fourth grade teacher at Prairie View Elementary, returned to Lindgren to teach the same grade, went to the former Sunnyside Elementary as a fifth grade teacher for three years, and has taught fourth grade at Hillcrest Elementary since 2007. Before all of that, she was a substitute teacher in the district for seven years.

Mrs. Hall is closing a 22-year local career in education with her retirement this spring.
