Reward offered in case of Dunn County horse attack

The Dunn County Crime Stoppers, Inc., announced Friday a $10,000 reward is being offered for anyone who has information for the person or persons responsible for the fatal injuries to a horse this summer. 

"Leo" was a horse belonging to Tammy Dahlby of rural Colfax. On July 15, Leo was led into an office at Dahlby's training facility by unknown individuals. Leo was later discovered with severe injuries which eventually lead to him being put down.

The Crime Stoppers, along with Sheriff's Office, said an anonymous citizen posted the reward. Anyone having information on this case is asked to anonymously contact Dunn County Crime Stoppers by calling its toll free 24 hour phone line (1-855-847-3866/TIP-DUNN), sending an anonymous tip by texting "TIPDUNN" plus their message to CRIMES (274637) from a mobile phone or submitting a web tip at
