Jeramy R. Stuart, 18, 1450 S. Wasson Ln., No. 72, is scheduled to make his first court appearance on the charge at 10 a.m. Monday, July 27.

The charge stems from an incident in the evening hours on June 19 when River Falls police were notified of a male walking in the street with no shirt and shoes, and with only black shorts near the River Falls Motel.

The criminal complaint continues officers Bruce Whitaker and Mike Nelson found the individual, who was identified as Stuart, near the Kwik Trip. According to Nelson's report, "it was obvious to me based on the smell of intoxicant, red eyes and the general demeanor and verbal responses to questions that Stuart was intoxicated." The results of a Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) test showed Stuart at .262.

Nelson then drove Stuart back to his residence, where he also wrote him a citation for underage drinking, fourth offense. Upon receiving the citation, Nelson said Stuart crumpled up the citation and threw it in the lawn.
