Prescott Art Show
Prescott High School will be showcased in the annual Art Show from April 1-30 at the Prescott Public Library. Students have expressed their artistry in a variety of media, including sculpture, music, video, jewelry, creative writing and painting.

Dems Host Author
On Thursday, April 2, at 7 p.m. at the River Falls Public Library, the Pierce County Democratic Party will present Earth Day guest speaker Bill Christofferson, author of "The Man From Clear Lake; Earth Day Founder Sen. Gaylord Nelson."

Choir Concert in SV
The Adult Community Choir Concert, "Nothing Could Be Finer than the Swingin' '40s," featuring the Connie Johns Band and the Adult Community Choir, will be presented Saturday, April 4, at 7 p.m. and Sunday, April 5, at 2 p.m. at the Spring Valley Theater. For tickets, call Cindy at 778-5583.
Funster Fun Fest
The eighth annual Ellsworth Funster Fun Fest will be held Saturday, April 4, from 9 a.m. to noon at Plummer Concrete, southeast of Ellsworth on Hwy. 10. There will be fishing, games, refreshments and a special appearance by the Easter Bunny.
On Saturday April 4, at 2 p.m., Spool Knitting with Ed Siewelo will be presented at the Great River Road Visitor and Learning Center in Prescott. $5/person. Ages 12 and up.

Ruffed Grouse Fundraiser
The Missi-Croix Chapter of the Ruffed Grouse Society will hold their 22nd annual fundraising banquet at the Point Restaurant in Hastings, Minn., on Monday, April 6. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. Raffles, games and auctions to benefit wildlife will be featured. A prime rib dinner will be served.
