EHS Play

Ellsworth High School will present "The Taming of the Shrew" by William Shakespeare on Thursday-Saturday, March 26, 27 and 28, at 7:30 p.m. For ticket information, call 273-3904.


Friday March 27

Bird Banding

The experts will band birds at Carpenter Nature Center, northwest of Prescott, on Friday, March 27, from 8:30 a.m. to noon. Call ahead to 651-437-4359 to register. Donations of bird seed or suet will be appreciated in lieu of a program fee.

Tobacco Cessation Class

Sign up by Friday, March 27, for American Lung Association cessation courses N-O-T for teens and Freedom from Smoking for adults. The courses will be offered Tuesdays from April 7 to May 19 and Thursday, April 30, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Ellsworth High School. :Ellsworth Fire Association will hold their 27th Annual Bar-B-Que Chicken Feed on Saturday, March 28, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Eat in, carry out, free delivery or curb side service. To place orders, call 273-4653.

Making Maple Syrup

The staff of Carpenter Nature Center, northwest of Prescott, will join in making maple syrup on Saturday, March 28, from 1-3 p.m. Call 651-437-4359 to make a reservation.

Pruning Apple Trees

Join the horticulturist at Carpenter Nature Center, northwest of Prescott, on Sunday, March 29, from 1-3 p.m. for a session on pruning apple trees. Learn what tools to use and participate in a pruning exercise in the orchard. Call 651-437-4359 to make a reservation. 

Pastors Host Encouragement

The Ellsworth Area Pastors' Association invites the public to the Ellsworth High School Cafetorium on Sunday, March 29, from 4-6 p.m. for cookies, coffee and punch, and time for encouragement for everyone in the community.
