Prescott's Nick Schommer survived the NFL's cutdown day to make the Tennessee Titans roster.

Last year Schommer was cut by the Titans but picked up on waivers and placed on the practice squad. This time around he was not cut and should be on the active roster when the Titans begin their regular season next Sunday at home against Oakland.

There was some speculation in Titans circles that Schommer wouldn't make the cut give there were so many safties in camp. He also didn't help himself when he allowed the Saints to block a punt during the final preseason game Thursday.

But Schommer also made plays during the preseason after being injured to start training camp. He had eight tackles and made an interception.

Former Packer running back Samkon Gado was cut by the Titans.
