Seniors Staying Put provides support
SPRING VALLEY--Seniors Staying Put will be a Spring Valley community volunteer organization helping seniors and others remain living in their own homes by providing a support network for seniors and their families with reasonably providable services.
The organization is looking for people in the neighborhood who need help to be able to "stay put" and/or can provide services. It will offer these services as a cooperative community allowing all to help each other. Individuals or groups who would consider being a part of the group’s work to help people "stay put" in their homes are being sought.
Details are being ironed out at the present time, and more details will be available soon. Those who are interested in being on the "helping end" or want to "Stay Put" themselves should contact: Lena Aumann at 715-273-6780. (Pierce County ADRC) and someone from the group will make a return contact.
The group meets on the first Tuesdays of the month at the Gilman Town Hall at 9 a.m. All are welcome.
