Shelter tells chamber about events for victims
Ellsworth Wisconsin 126 S. Chestnut St. 54011

Turningpoint for Victims of Domestic and Sexual Violence in River Falls was showcased at Thursday's Ellsworth Chamber of Commerce meeting.

Katie Ryan, Turningpoint's sexual assault services coordinator, discussed services to victims such as a 24-hour crisis line, and help with food and clothing, largely through the shelter's Second Chances store in River Falls.

Ryan told of a fundraising effort for a building expansion project. This would enable various coordinators to move into new space while room for the shelter would double in existing space.
