'Silver Bells' coming to town

SPRING VALLEY--The Adult Community Choir, under the direction of Cindy Kongshaug, has begun rehearsals for their “Silver Bells” Christmas concert.

Performance dates are Saturday, Dec. 7, at 7 p.m., and Sunday, Dec. 8, at 2 p.m. at the Spring Valley Theater.

The choir will be singing many favorites for the public’s enjoyment, such as: “The Prayer,” “Who Could Imagine A King?,” “O Holy Night,” “Baby, It’s Cold Outside,” “Joy to the World” and, of course, “Silver Bells,” just to name a few.

The concert wouldn’t be complete without the children’s choir, under the direction of Michelle Schmitt. They will also perform songs of the Christmas season.

Plan to join in a music-filled performance complete with a great selection of Christmas cookies made by choir members.

Tickets are available online at or at the door.
