Skeeters rally to defeat Blues in 10 innings

HAGER CITY - The Hager City Skeeters rallied from an 8-0 deficit to beat the Plum City Blues 11-10 Saturday at Brown Field.

The Skeeters plated five runs in their last at bats to tie the game at 9-9 and scored two more in the 10th to win the contest. HC outscored the Blues 9-2 in the final three innings of the ballgame.

Chandler Flynn and Bryan Early both had three hits each for HC and Ryan Christianson drove in three runs.

Both teams combined for 34 hits, 17 apiece. 

Darren Georgakas was the winning pitcher. He went six innings and struck out five batters.

The win snaps a six-game St. Croix Valley League losing streak for the Skeeters.
