Spring Valley edges Pepin 6-4, scrambles D-SC Small race


PEPIN - The Spring Valley High School baseball team topped Pepin 6-4 Monday at Pepin, making for a three-way tie for first place in the Dunn-St. Croix Conference Small Division.

SV, Pepin and Plum City all have 2-2 records in the conference. The Blue Devils lost their second league game Monday 5-3 to St. Croix Central.

The Cardinals created a 2-0 edge for themselves as Derek Biggs tripled, Dustin Bune doubled and Troy Rudesill singled.
