Spring Valley man injured in motorcycle-deer accident


MARTELL - A motorcycle-deer accident injured a rural Spring Valley man yesterday morning on Hwy. 29 just west of its intersection with Hwy. 63.

Michael Fritz, 42, was traveling westbound on his 2009 Harley-Davidson motorcycle when it struck a deer that entered the roadway around 10:12 a.m. After impacting with the deer, the motorcycle overturned, ejecting Fritz.

Fritz was transported to River Falls Hispital by the Ellsworth Ambulance Service with undetermined injurie.
