STATE SPORTS ROUNDUP: Packers lose QB coach to NY Giants

Green Bay Packers' assistant coach Ben McAdoo has been named the new offensive coordinator for the New York Giants. Giants' coach Tom Coughlin interviewed McAdoo on Monday, and he was hired yesterday to replace retiring coordinator Kevin Gilbride. The 36-year-old McAdoo was one of seven remaining coaches from Mike McCarthy's first staff in Green Bay in 2006. McAdoo was the Packers' tight end coach for six years, and the quarterbacks' coach for the past two seasons.
