Susan L. Myers, 68

Susan Louise (nee Beeler) Myers, age 68, of Prescott, Wis., passed away peacefully with her family by her side, on Monday, July 21, after a long, courageous battle with Myotonic Dystrophy.

Susan was born on Oct. 12, 1945, in Prescott, Wis., to Robert and Evelyn Beeler.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Mark.

Susan is survived by her husband of 50 years, who was a harbor pilot captain, Jerry Myers of Prescott; daughter, Stacy Myers, Ellsworth, Wis.; sisters, Barbara (Gary) Bohlken of Omaha, Neb., and Penny (Dick) Miller of Prescott. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews.

Susan worked as a nurse until her career was halted by recurring health problems. She always owned and loved pure-bred cats. Susan was also very proud of her classic 1967 SS and 1970 SS Chevelles, which won a number of awards at area auto shows.

We will miss her sense of humor, her tenacity, and caring spirit. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and sister.

Services for Susan will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, at the Hill Funeral Home, 1339 Orrin Rd., Prescott, WI 54021. Burial will be in the Pine Glen Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of services on Saturday.
