Tasha Schuh honored in Madison
MADISON -- State Representative Warren Petryk (R-Eleva), along with Representative Knudson, Senator Harsdorf, and Senator Vinehout honored Tasha Schuh of Ellsworth, Wisconsin with a Joint Resolution for being crowned Ms. Wheelchair USA as well as her advocacy and inspiration to others.
"Tasha is truly a remarkable woman who suffered a life changing accident while in high school. Tasha broke her spine but the injury did not break her spirit. She has inspired others with her story and she now travels the Midwest speaking to schools, groups, and organizations," Petryk stated.
Tasha traveled to Madison on Tuesday, April 9th, and gave the invocation in the Senate and then addressed the Senators during a private reception. Tasha was then recognized by the state Assembly. Many legislators spoke privately with Tasha and she shared her passion to inspire lives, empower, and transform those around her.
"It is my honor and privilege to have Tasha as a constituent and as a new friend," state Petryk. "She has truly inspired me through her positive outlook on life and her unbreakable spirit. Congratulations, Tasha Schuh, for all of the positive work that you do and for being crowned Ms. Wheelchair USA!"
