Theodore R. Andrle, 82

Theodore Roman Andrle was called by God June 14, at the Comforts of Home in River Falls, Wis.

Ted was born May 7, 1932, to Emil and Anna (Loida) Andrle at the Family Farm in Clifton Township, Pierce County, Wis.

Ted's life was centered around his love of the farm, his animals and nature. He was employed at Andersen Window until his retirement in 1994.

Prize winning saddle bred horses were sold throughout the United States and Canada. He enjoyed riding his prize horses in local parades and events always dressed in regal show attire. Charolis Cattle grazing the pastures and his love for the beauty of his peacocks were a joy to Ted, selling and making friends throughout the United States.

In later years, his involvement with the Master Gardener program would bring 100 varieties of hostas, ferns, bleeding hearts and other perennials to the farmstead. One of his proudest projects was planting and maintaining the flowers by the Clifton Town Hall.

Ted loved music and his guitar and he could play any song by ear. His band the Happy Rhythm Rangers played at many local events in the area and for many years he was a member of the St. Bridget's Choir.

The true joy of Ted's life were his nieces and nephew, their lives and families. Ted could always be counted on to keep them on track with family history.

Ted was preceded in death by his parents, Emil and Anna (Loida) Andrle; brothers, Lawerence (Doris) and Wilfred; sisters, Clarsy and Marjorie (Warren) Yanisch; and special nephew, Gregory Yanisch.

Surviving are a sister-in-law, Leona Andrle of River Falls; and his nieces and nephews, Barb, Vicky, Donna, Anna Mae, Virgina, Bonnie, Betty, David, William, Pauline, Kathy, Charlene and Darlene.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 4 p.m. June 20, with visitation one hour before the service at St. Bridget Catholic Church, River Falls, with Fr. Gerald Harris officiating. Burial will be held at St. Bridget Catholic Cemetery.

Family is requesting memorials be given to St. Bridget Catholic Church or St. Croix Hospice.
