MINNEAPOLIS - The Minnesota Twins extended their American League Central division lead to four games with a 7-6, 10-inning home victory over the second-place Chicago White Sox.

Jim Thome hit a two-run walk-off homer as the Twins won their fifth straight. Thome finished 3-for-5 with three RBI for Minnesota, which blew leads of 4-0 and 5-4 before pulling out the win. Orlando Hudson homered and Jason Kubel had a two-run triple for the Twins,

Matt Thornton took the loss for Chicago.
