UPDATE: Spring Valley man injured when ATV rolls over him

A Spring Valley man was injured Wednesday morning when he was pinned under his ATV. 

Russell A. Steele, 53, was driving a 2007 Suzuki ATV, trying to reign in cattle on his farm at N8715 250th St. in the town of Gilman when his ATV rolled, pinning him under it, according to Pierce County Sheriff's Deputy William Stewart in a news release. The accident happened around 11:15 a.m.

Steele was flown from the scene by North Air to Regions Hospital in St. Paul with non-life threatening injuries. A Regions spokesperson said Tuesday Steele was treated and released. 

Stewart said the Sheriff's Department was assisted on scene by Spring Valley Ambulance, Spring Valley Fire and Ellsworth Paramedic.
