U.S. Senate candidate to appear in New Richmond May 11

MILWAUKEE -- On Friday, May 11, U.S. Senate candidate Tammy Baldwin will visit New Richmond, where she will meet with members of the New Richmond Chamber of Commerce to speak about her successful work on the Stillwater Lift Bridge and her plans for to create jobs and grow Wisconsin's economy.

In 2011, Congresswoman Baldwin visited the Stillwater Bridge and worked with Democrats and Republican to pass a bipartisan measure to invest in Wisconsin's infrastructure and construct a new bridge over the St. Croix River linking Wisconsin and Minnesota.

Baldwin says she has a strong record of working with both parties to strengthen Wisconsin's manufacturing and family farm economy, create small business jobs and move our recovery forward so we restore economic security for Wisconsin's middle class.

Baldwin's New Richmond visit will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Lola's Family Restaurant, 118 Homestead Drive.
