Vikings make six picks on final day of draft

NEW YORK CITY - After sitting out Friday's second and third rounds of the draft the Minnesota Vikings were a lot more active on the final day of the NFL draft Saturday.

Minnesota made six selections in rounds four through seven to bolster their line up.

These selections include Penn State linebacker Gerald Hodge in the fourth round, UCLA punter Jeff Locke in the fifth, another UCLA player, guard Jeff Baca in the sixth round and another Penn State linebacker, Michael Matui in the seventh round.

The Vikes' also drafted guard Travis Bond from North Carolina and defensive tackle Everett Dawkins of Florida State in the seventh round as well.
