ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed bids for the construction of TID 9 Senior Properties of Ellsworth, LLC, Watermain Extension and Right Turn Lane for the Village of Ellsworth in one contract, as follows:
12 Watermain & Appurtenances 3,200 lf
12 Watermain (Directional Drill) 200 lf
Common Excavation 400 cy
Crushed Aggregate Base Course 250 cy
5 Hot Mix Asphalt Paving 700 sy
36 Concrete Curb & Gutter 160 lf
Pavement Marking 600 lf
Restoration 10,000 sy
will be received by the Village Clerk, Village of Ellsworth, at the Village Hall, 130 N. Chestnut Street, Ellsworth, WI 54011, by 2:00 p.m., local time, August 8, 2013, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.
The proposals shall be submitted on the forms furnished with the specifications. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check payable to the owner equal to five percent (5%) of the proposal or a bid bond of a bonding company duly authorized to do business in the State of Wisconsin in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the proposal. This proposal guarantee shall be subject to forfeiture as provided by law.

Pursuant to Section 66.0903 Wis. Statutes, Section 103.49 Wis. Statutes, and Chapter DWD 290 Wis. Admin. Code, where applicable, the minimum wage rate to be paid on the project shall be in accordance with the wage rate scale established by State Wage Rates.
Proposals shall not be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days after the date of opening. The Village of Ellsworth reserves the right to reject any or all of the proposals and to waive any informalities therein.
