Warm weather means spring sports on schedule

The warm weather and fast snow melt means that high school spring sports and activities should get underway on time and outdoors.

Track and field practice began last week. However the first meet is still indoors, the Northern Badger Invitational that Elmwood-Plum City's team will take part in this Saturday at Johnson Fieldhouse in Menomonie on the campus of UW-Stout. Both E-PC and Ellsworth's teams will be in a meet in the same location March 30.
