WBA Tournament update, River Falls and Prescott both winners

Both Prescott and River Falls were both first round WBA playoff winners Friday and Saturday.

Prescott defeated regional host Abbotsford 14-8 Friday. River Falls defeated Tilden 11-9 in 10 innings in Ellsworth.

The Fighting Fish's Scott Warrington's two-run homer in the top of the 10th broke a 9-9 tie.

Winning pitcher Ryan Gilbertson hit a solo home run and RF also had two doubles.

River Falls will play the Haugen Knights Sunday at 12 p.m. at Young Field in Ellsworth. Prescott will also play at noon Sunday in Abbotsford.

Other SCVL teams in WBA playoff action, Hudson defeated Bayside in Eau Claire and New Richmond fell to the La Crosse this afternoon.
