Wild's season ends with playoff loss

CHICAGO -- Chicago's Marian Hossa tallied two goals and an assist to lead the Blackhawks to a 5-1 rout of the Wild and into the Western Conference semifinals.

Marcus Kruger added a goal and a helper, while Patrick Sharp and Andrew Shaw also tallied for the top-seeded Blackhawks, who win the best-of-seven set four-games-to-one. Corey Crawford made 19 saves in the victory. Torrey Mitchell scored the lone goal for the Wild, who were in the playoffs for the first time since 2007-08. Josh Harding and Darcy Kuemper combined to stop just 26-of-31 shots in defeat.

The Minnesota Wild agreed to terms on an entry-level contract with 19-year-old Raphael Bussieres. Bussieres was a second-round draft choice by Minnesota in the 2012 NHL Entry draft and spent this past season playing for a major-junior team in Canada. He tallied 68 points in 60 games so far this season and his team is still alive in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League postseason. He is a native of Longueuil, Quebec.
