WISCONSIN NEWS ROUND-UP: La Crosse police investigating stabbing
LA CROSSE - Police in La Crosse are investigating a stabbing that left one person with life-threatening injuries.
WXOW-TV reports that the incident is still under investigation, but occurred at around 9:00 last night at an apartment complex. One person was taken by ambulance to the hospital. The investigation continues.
The Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a fatal motorcycle accident that occurred last night. Authorities say a 21-year-old Pewaukee man was killed when his motorcycle veered off Highway 16 at around 7:25 p.m. The crash remains under investigation, the victim’s name has not been released.
Schreiber Foods is opening its new headquarters in Green Bay tomorrow. The cheese manufacturer says the state-of-the-art facilities will employ around 700 people. Schreiber Foods was founded in 1945, it has grown to one of the biggest employee-owned companies in the country, bringing in about $4.5 million in revenue last year. The new building cost $85-million to build, with $14-million coming from the city.
