WISCONSIN SPORTS BRIEFS: Another shutout win for Brewers
Ellsworth Wisconsin 126 S. Chestnut St. 54011

MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee starting pitcher Yovani Gallardo threw a scoreless six-and-a-third innings of work, in a 6-0 win over Miami.

The Brewers scored early, and often, off a Ryan Braun two-run double in the first inning. The bases were loaded again for the Brewers to deal more damage, but were unable to capitalize. Brewers have now shut-out Miami two straight games, a 24 innings scoreless streak for the Marlins.

With his father as his caddy the entire tournament, the Oklahoma State University student claims the James D. Standish Trophy and receives an invitation to the 2014 Masters, if he remains an amateur.
