Cornerback Sam Shields has re-signed with the Green Bay Packers. Shields and his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, announced an agreement was reached via Twitter last night. The deal is a reported four-year, $39-million contract that includes a 12-and-a-half million dollar signing bonus. The former undrafted free agent proved to be an important cog to the Packers defense last season, recording 61 tackles and four interceptions.
