WISCONSIN SPORTS ROUNDUP: Bucks fall to Utah in NBA Summer League action
LAS VEGAS -- The Milwaukee Bucks fell to 0-3 in the NBA Summer League with an 87-71 loss to the Utah Jazz Monday night in Las Vegas. Milwaukee trailed 46-37 at the half and were never able to close the gap in the second half. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks with 15 points and rookie Jabari Parker had 14.
Charlie Danielson of Osceola opened the first round of the U-S Amateur Public Links Championship with a 3 under par 68 to tie for 6th place. He offset a double bogey on the 6th hole with five birdies. Defending champion, Jordan Niebrugge of Mequon didn’t fare as well. Niebrugge opened with birdies on the second and third hole, but had a double-bogey on six and three more bogeys in the round to end up at three over. He is tied for 67th. The second round of stroke play is today (Tuesday)
