Wolves kill two dogs that were training for bear hunt

Wolves in northern Wisconsin have killed two dogs that were training to hunt bear.

A third dog was also injured in the attacks, which took place this week in Sawyer and Oneida counties.

Adrian Wydeven of the state Department of Natural Resources said they're the first such wolf attacks in this year's dog training season, which runs through July and August.

Hunters released the animals to chase bears as part of their training.
