Woman who threatened to kill two county judges loses appeal

In a decision released Tuesday, Wisconsin's District III Court of Appeals upheld the conviction of a Pierce County woman who threatened to shoot two county judges.


In her appeal, Tally Ann Rowan, now 36, claimed she hadn't knowingly and voluntarily waived her right to counsel during the November 2009 trial.

In that trial, a Pierce County jury found her guilty of threatening bodily harm to Pierce County Judge Robert Wing and Buffalo County Judge James Duvall.
