Women's health on wheels

Associated Bank in Ellsworth hosted the Marshfield Clinic’s Mobile Digital Mammography Unit for screenings Thursday. The unit provides state-of-the-art mammograms to women, and features digital imaging equipment and computer-aided detection for precise integration of image data. Jonas Gonstead of the bank’s local branch said the unit had to leave earlier than planned, but an attempt will be made to have it return in the fall. Meantime, representatives from such enterprises as Advocare and J.J. Mobility were present to make the day more of a total health care event, a concept Gonstead said drew praise from organizers.
