Gospel concert will benefit Our Neighbors’ Place
The River Falls Community Gospel Choir, UW-River Falls students, and members from the Minnesota Chapter of the Gospel Music Workshop of America will put on a free gospel music benefit concert for Our Neighbors’ Place, River Falls homeless shelter.
The River Falls Community Gospel Choir, UW-River Falls students, and members from the Minnesota Chapter of the Gospel Music Workshop of America will put on a free gospel music benefit concert for Our Neighbors’ Place, River Falls homeless shelter.
The concert will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday Nov. 17, at the Newman Center/Thomas Moore Chapel at Fifth Street and Cascade Avenue.
The mass choir, under the direction of Dr. Camilla Horne, lecturer of music at UW-RF, will perform many gospel standards and several well-known soloists from the Twin Cities and the St. Croix Valley will be featured.
