Actors needed, auditions next week
The WayWord Company Players will be holding auditions for their next play, a new musical entitled “CELLebration.” It is the story of an underground church ( a church that meets in secret because of persecution) and it asks the question, “How far would you go for what you say you believe?”
The WayWord Company Players will be holding auditions for their next play, a new musical entitled “CELLebration.” It is the story of an underground church ( a church that meets in secret because of persecution) and it asks the question, “How far would you go for what you say you believe?”
There are six male and six female main roles, ranging in age from middle school on up but, since the play also tells the story of an entire church, all ages are needed, from pre-school to seniors.
This is a great opportunity for anyone wanting to try theater for the first time as there is a need for a good number of people simply willing to be a part of the church body, and happy to sing in large-group settings.
Auditions will be held from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, at the River Falls Public Library.
If specifically auditioned for a main role come prepared to sing unaccompanied.
Performances will be at the Meyer Middle School auditorium, Friday through Sunday, April 27-29. Rehearsals are tentatively scheduled to begin the first week in February.
