Eric Thompson says it will give them a chance to protect themselves and maybe stop another mass killer in his or her tracks.
Thompson is joining forces with a group called Students for Concealed Carry on Campus. They’ll hold a national protest next month to oppose campus gun-free zones.
Thompson’s company is donating the empty holsters they’ll use in those demonstrations.

The student concealed-carry group still has chapters at Marquette, Lawrence of Appleton and Madison Area Technical College.
State Senate Democrat Fred Risser of Madison totally opposes the concept.
Risser says the chances of stopping a crazy gunman on campus are one in a million, while it’s a lot more common that innocent young people will be shot.
