Engaged: Gaustad-Nelson

Michael and Patti Gaustad announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Marie Gaustad, to Nicholas Alan Nelson., son of Carla Nelson of Bay City.

Ashley is a 2003 graduate of Ellsworth High School and a 2007 graduate of UW-River Falls with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology. She is a Family Advocate at the Women’s Center in Red Wing and also is employed at the Red Wing Public Library.

Nicholas is a 2000 graduate of Goodhue (Minn.) Public School and a 2005graduate from Dakota County (Minn.) Technical College with a major in Concrete and Masonry. He is an equipment operator for Peavey Company in Newport, Minn.

A July 19, 2008, wedding is planned at St. Francis Catholic Church in Ellsworth.
