Notice of Public Hearing

for the Town of El Paso

Notice is hereby given that on November 10, 2008 at 7:30 p.m., at the Town Hall, a Public Hearing will be held on the proposed budget for the Town of El Paso for the year 2009. The proposed budget will be available for inspection in detail at the home of the Clerk by appointment. It is the right of citizens of the Town of El Paso to attend the hearing and provide oral or written comments and to ask questions regarding the entire budget. Immediately following adjournment of the public hearing on the proposed budget a special meeting of the electors will be called pursuant to Wis. Statutes, sec. 60.01 (1)(a) to adopt the 2008 Tax Levy to be paid in the year 2009. Note: the town is imposing only the 2% Tax Levy Increase mandated by Wis. Act 25.

Immediately following this hearing and special meeting, the monthly Town Board meeting will be convened with agenda as follows: minutes, treasurer’s report, patrolman’s report, audit bills, discuss/take action on; Odalen dog claim, 465th Ave modifications, and any other items pursuant to town business.
