NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

FOR TOWN OF ROCK ELM

NOTICE IS HEAREBY GIVEN THAT ON MONDAY, NOVEMBER 17, 2008 at 8:00pm at the TOWN SHOP, a PUBLIC HEARING on the PROPOSED BUDGET of the Town of Rock Elm will be held. That proposed budget is detail is available for inspection at the home of the Town Clerk by appointment.

NOTICE OF SPECIAL TOWN MEETING OF THE ELECTORS OF THE TOWN OF ROCK ELM

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT ON MONDAY, NOVEMBER 17, 2008, immediately following completion of the Public Hearing on the proposed budget which begins at 8:00pm at the Town Shop, a special town meeting of the electors called pursuant to Section 60.12 (1)(c) of Wisconsin Statutes by the town board for the following purposed will be held:

1. To adopt the 2008 Town Tax Levy to be paid in 2009 pursuant to Section 60.10(1)(a) of the Wisconsin Statutes.

2. To authorize the Town board to hire town officers as employees of the town and set an hourly wage pursuant to Section 60.10(1)(g) of Wisconsin Statutes.
