Notice is hereby given that on Monday evening, November 10, 2008 at 7:30 PM at the Town Hall, a public hearing on the proposed budget for 2008 for the Town of Union will be held. The proposed budget in detail is available for inspection by contacting the Clerk to set up an appointment.

NOTICE OF SPECIAL TOWN MEETING

OF THE ELECTORS

OF THE TOWN OF UNION, PIERCE COUNTY

Notice is hereby given that on November 10, 2008, immediately following the completion of the Public Hearing on the Proposed Budget, a special town meeting of the electors called pursuant to Sec. 60.12(1) of Wis. Statues by the Town Board will be held for the following purposes:

1. To adopt the 2008 town tax levy to be paid in 2009 Sec. 60.10(1)(a) of Wis. Statutes

2. To approve the total year 2009 highway expenditures Sec 82.03(2) of Wis. Statutes

3. To set the compensation of the elected town officials for the term of office beginning in April of 2009 through April of 2011 Sec 60.32 of Wis. Statutes

Notice is hereby given that on November 10, 2008, immediately following the completion of the Special Town Meeting of the Electors, the regular monthly meeting of the Town Board Supervisors will be held.
