Emerson returns to Tainter Friday
ELMWOOD — Elmwood native Vicky Emerson returns home for a performance at 8 p.m. this Friday at the Mabel Tainter Theater in Menomonie.
ELMWOOD — Elmwood native Vicky Emerson returns home for a performance at 8 p.m. this Friday at the Mabel Tainter Theater in Menomonie.
Emerson, a singer/songwriter, began her career in Minneapolis. She currently resides in Manhattan and tours across the nation with over 200 shows a year. She is known for her rich voice and unique blending of folk and blues.
Emerson will be joined on stage by guitarist Dean Magraw, who helped Emerson released “Reach,” her breakout album. Besides being a guitarist, Magraw is known for being a composer, arranger and producer.
