A Rice Lake area man died, after shooting at his wife early on New Year’s Day.
Margaret Krohn told authorities that her husband Gerald, 63, fired a shot at her and she hid in a bathroom where she heard another shot.
Authorities later found Gerald Krohn dead in his bedroom with a gunshot wound to the head.
Sheriff’s officials have not confirmed that it was self-inflicted and the incident remains under investigation.
