ADOPTION MEETING A free informational meeting about adoption will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 26, at HOPE Adoption and Family Services, 5850 Omaha Ave. N., Oak Park Heights, Minn. HOPE is a non-profit adoption agency serving residents throughout Minnesota and Northwestern Wisconsin. ELLSWORTH IMMUNIZATION CLINIC Pierce County Public Health Service’s monthly Ellsworth immunization clinic will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 28, from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Pierce County Office Building at 412 W. Kinne St., Ellsworth. A consent form must be signed by the parent or legal guardian. If a child must be sent with someone other than a parent (i.e., grandparent, babysitter, friend), signed written permission must be provided for the specific immunization(s) to be given that day. Donations are received at all clinic sites. Contributions help assure the continuation of this valuable service in Pierce County. Make sure the entire family is fully protected. ELLSWORTH AREA AMBULANCE SERVICE OPERATING COMMITTEE meeting will be Tuesday, Jan. 20, at 7:30 p.m. at the Ellsworth Area Ambulance Hall, 151 S. Plum St., Ellsworth. Agenda: Approve the minutes from previous meeting, Treasurer’s report, Review 2008 budget, Medical Director Report, General business of the service. The meeting may adjourn to closed session as authorized by state statute 19.85 (1) (c)& (f) to discuss full time employees wages, promotions and performance evaluation of employees of which the Operating Committee has authority to exercise responsibility and to give consideration to specific problems. PIERCE COUNTY PARTNERS IN TOURISM annual meeting will be held at Franke’s Big River Bar and Grill, W10516 Hwy. 10 (formerly the Virginian Supper Club) in Prescott, and runs from 5:30-8 p.m. The annual meeting is open to businesses in the area, including PCPT members.
