Church hosts sportsmen’s banquet, game feed Feb. 8
PRESCOTT — St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Prescott will hold its annual Sportsmen’s Banquet and Wild Game Feed on Sunday, Feb. 8, at 6 p.m. at the church.
PRESCOTT — St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Prescott will hold its annual Sportsmen’s Banquet and Wild Game Feed on Sunday, Feb. 8, at 6 p.m. at the church.
The public is invited to bring their favorite “wild game” dish to pass or just come and enjoy what is provided. There will also be non-game items available.
The guest speaker will be Jim Peters, who operates a guide service for walleyes and muskies on the Mississippi and St. Croix rivers, plus Mille Lacs Lake. Attendees are welcome to bring their pictures, antlers, mounts, etc., and stories of hunting and fishing experiences to share with the group.
Door prizes will be awarded. A Baitcasting Rod and Reel will be the grand prize.
A free will offering will be taken. There will be a table prayer, but the event is not a religious one.
The church is located at 1048 N. Campbell St.
