Letter: Good Samaritans still exist, she says

TO THE EDITOR:
I wanted to write a note to commend the three men who stopped to help a stranger in distress the early morning of Jan. 22.
It was a densely foggy morning and I was driving home from work. Due to poor visibility, I thought I was turning into my driveway, and I was actually turning by my neighbor’s mailbox and ended up halfway in the ditch. I was afraid someone was going to hit my car because it was sideways on the road and oncoming cars wouldn’t even see my lights/flashers in the fog.
Within minutes, two different vehicles stopped and three male angels came to my rescue. They quickly pushed my car back onto the roadway. We all had to leave the scene quickly so further accidents didn’t occur, so I didn’t get a chance to properly commend them.
I am hoping that they read this paper and know that their act of kindness may very well have saved me and my car from accident or injury, and I appreciated it immensely. It really warms my heart to know that such good Samaritans still exist.
