Wieser named finalist for safety award
MAIDEN ROCK — Wieser Concrete Products, Inc., of Maiden Rock has been selected as a finalist for the 2008 Wisconsin Corporate Safety Award.
MAIDEN ROCK — Wieser Concrete Products, Inc., of Maiden Rock has been selected as a finalist for the 2008 Wisconsin Corporate Safety Award.
The Wisconsin Safety Council (WSC) and the Department of Workforce Development (DWD) notified Wieser of their award status. The concrete products company is a finalist for this award based on their outstanding lost time injury incidence rate for 2008 and the preceding two calendar years.
During 2008, the three precast production facilities celebrated two-year accident-free safety milestones and one celebrated their one-year accident-free safety milestone.
The company produces precast concrete products for agriculture, highway and underground commercial markets at their production facilities in Portage, Fond du Lac, Menomonie and Maiden Rock.
